Enlisted Association 1995 Accomplishments

1. Pay Raise - Increased BAS by 2.4% & BAQ increased by 5.2%.
2. Military Technician Level - established FY 96 Technician levels as a floor.
3. National Guard Youth Programs - Extended NG Youth Programs by 18 months.
4. Mobilization Income Insurance Program - Established program to enable those Guard members mobilized the option of buying income insurance protection.
5. 15 PAA Fighter Aircraft - Maintained 15 PAA in Guard fighter units.
6. Dental Insurance - Established Dental Insurance Program for Guard members.
7. COLA Raise - 2.4%
8. Montgomery G.I. Bill - Increased payments as added incentives for certain job skills.
9. Military Construction - $436.7 million.
10. Guard/Reserve Equipment - $777 million.
11. Full-time Support - Military Technicians full-time support Program for Army and Air National Guard.
12. Military Leave - 45 days military leave for military Reserve Technicians for certain duty overseas.
13. Bonuses & special pay - Extension of certain bonuses and special pay for Reserve components.
14. Civil Military Cooperative Action Program - Section 410, Title 10 repealed. This program was rewritten by adding §§2012 to Chapter 101 of Title 10.
